Bullying still not taken seriously ,and the have no idea how to deal with the bullying or act on it ,my granddaughters life has been made a misery for over two years now and it's not getting any better ,even on the school bus she has a clump of hair cut off the back .So no i can't recommend this school and advise anyone to ask around before sending children there
This school gave me the issues i have today, this was in the past, they had a special needs centre attached to a mainstream school, way too much bullying, special needs children got called doonits and i was once stabbed in the hand and very badly bullied on a daily basis. This school should be hold responsible for the damage they've done in the past, I know alot of people who have been mentally damaged by their experience in the centre. They treated special needs children as if they couldnt progress in society and the teachers was not symphetic to the issues that was going on. I hope they've changed this today i really do, however for me and many others the damage has already been done. I suffer from bpd which was caused by the trauma of my childhood and most likely the bullying and the way the teachers treated me at this school. And i feel as if these problems should have been picked up as well. So thankyou for causing me that trauma. Id avoid this school at all costs for my daughter whos going to secondery school next year. And ive avoided even going past the school and anywhere near it since leaving. Horrable memories. Special needs children should be treated with the same respect and dignity as other children. Ive learnt well now and progressed thanks to lincoln college.
Great school and very deserving of their 'Outstanding' Ofsted.
The majority of tutors favouritised. More bothered about GCSE results for the school than for the student. Welfare for students declined as soon as I got into year 10. Majority of tutors were extremely one sided and never gave others chance to provided an explanation of the situation. Headteacher is lovely on the other hand and does listen to others.
