Lovely historic setting with authentic features. Food was nice but not a huge choice. Been 3 times in the last couple of years and every time there has been a problem with either the pool, sauna or Jacuzzi, or all three. This really spoils the experience as a lot of people go expecting to use these facilities. The rooms are nice but the bathrooms are rather outdated and tired! Grounds are breathtaking!
Fifth visit. Says it all. Very relaxed old country hall.Staff so friendly , rooms well appointed in keeping with building. Grounds spacious for a stroll round.Will return again.
Lovely hotel in a beautiful building. Included breakfast and dinner where fantastic.Had the pool/jacuzzi/spa to ourselves as it was quiet, not sure how busy these are throughout the year.Unfortunately the room didn't have functioning hot water, dissapointing but we were given a free room upgrade.
A fantastic place to stay, set in beautiful grounds. Spacious, well equipped bedrooms, spotlessly clean with huge comfy beds. The food is exceptional, service great the staff are wonderful, nothing too much trouble. Gluten & lactose intolerant, vegan and veggies are more than welcome and catered for. Full vegan menu. Lovely place - we will return.
